On the Meeting of Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, with the Prime-Minister of Turkey Mr.Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

On November 1, 2013 Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, met with the Prime-Minister of Turkey Mr.Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

During the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached following the results of the meeting of Mr.Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus, with Mr.Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime-Minister of Turkey, in 2010.

The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and marked that Turkey is one of the most important economic partners for Belarus.

The parties expressed interest in the development of cooperation, as Belarus and Turkey have all necessary economic conditions for that. The sides also discussed joint projects aimed at the expansion of mutual trade volumes.
