On the Visit of Mr.Sergei Rahmanov, Ambassador of Belarus to Japan, to the Fukushima Prefecture

On May 27, 2013 Mr.Sergei Rahmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan, visited Fukushima Prefecture.

Mr.Sergei Rahmanov held meetings with the Governor of Koriyama, the area that suffered most from the disaster at the atomic power station Fukushima-1, and with the managers of the National rehabilitation center in Fukushima. The parties discussed the interaction of the two countries in the rehabilitation of the areas that suffered from the disaster at the atomic power station.

Mr.Sergei Rahmanov took part in the opening ceremony of the dosimetric equipment of the Belarusian enterprise “Polimaster” exhibition.

The Belarusian diplomat made a presentation of the Belarusian experience in the rectification of the consequences of the disaster at the atomic power station in Chernobyl.
