On November 14, 2012 14th Annual Conference of the States Parties to the Protocol on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby-Traps and Other Devices as amended to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects was convened in Geneva.
During this event Mr.Mikhail Khvostov, the Permanent Representative of Belarus in Geneva was elected Vice-President of the 15th Annual Conference of the States Parties to the Amended Protocol II to the CCW. This Conference will be held in Geneva on 13 November 2013.
Belarus is party to the CCW and all its annexed Protocols. Our country is actively involved in the activities in the framework of the Convention.
