Vladimir Semashko visited Azerbaijan

On October 29-30, 2012 Belarusian delegation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, co-chairman of the Belarus-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission for cooperation Vladimir Semashko visited Azerbaijan.

Among the members of the delegation there were the first deputy Minister of industry Ivan Demidovich, heads of a number of the biggest Belarusian enterprises.

Vladimir Semashko met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade, First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Azerbaijanian part of the Belarus-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission for cooperation Yagub Eyyubov, head of Ganja executive power Elmar Valiyev.

During the meetings the sides discussed topical issues on bilateral relations in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Special attention was paid to the prospects of joint projects in heavy, agro-industrial and construction industries.

Belarusian delegation visited Ganja automobile plant, Sumgait Technologies Park, production association «Azerkimya».
