Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano to visit Belarus

On April 2-3, 2012 Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano will visit Belarus at the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Belarus.

On April 3 Minister Sergei Martynov will meet with Yukiya Amano at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. The sides will discuss prospects for cooperation between Belarus and IAEA.

The IAEA Director General is also scheduled to hold a number of meetings with key government officials, to visit the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus as well as the children's rehabilitation and recreation center “Zhdanovichi”.
