On the Participation of Mr.Alexandr Guryanov in the Session of the Subcommittee

On August 15, 2013 the 14th session of the Subcommittee on customs tariff and non-tariff regulation and safeguard measures of the Eurasian Economic Commission Advisory Committee on Trade took place in Moscow.

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr.Alexandr Guryanov.

During the session the Sides considered the initiative proposals by the Belarusian Party on import tariff rates correction, the results of anti-dumping and safeguard investigations pertaining to certain types of goods.

The Parties also discussed the project of Basic areas of customs and tariff regulation of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia for 2013 and the period of 2014-2015.

Additional consideration was given to the distribution of extra import quotas for agricultural goods in the Customs Union in 2013 as well as the temporary ban on the export of raw bovine leather in the Republic of Belarus.
