Consultations on WTO with Russia Took Place in Minsk

On May 11,2012 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus hosted consultations with the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on the issues on accession to the World Trade Organization.
The Belarusian side on the consultations included the representatives of the Foreign Ministry, National Bank, National Center for Legislation and Legal Studies, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, State Customs Committee.
The Russian side included the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development.
During the consultations the sides reviewed the issues related to the accession of Russia to the WTO, implementation of Russian obligations within the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, advancement of the accession of Belarus to the WTO.
