Results of the Session of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council
25 January 2012First session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission took place in Moscow on January 25, 2012.
A decision was taken during its work to appoint the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian member of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Roumas to the post of the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
A number of organizational decisions was signed, that are aimed at faster creation and beginning of activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The Sides have discussed other important issues of the cooperation in the integration area, related i.a. to the international legal positioning of the EEC, including negotiations with third countries.
