On the Meetings of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Valentin Rybakov within the Visit to Sudan

On January 14, 2014 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Valentin Rybakov continued his visit to Sudan.

Mr.Valentin Rybakov met with the Sudanese Oil Minister and the Co-Chair of Belarus-Sudan Committee on cooperation Mr.Makkawi Mohamed Awad. During the meeting the parties discussed the preparation for the second session of the Intergovernmental Committee.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus met with the Minister of Industry of Sudan Mr.al-Saleh al-Sadig al-Nur and Minister of Mineral Resources Mr.Ahmed al-Sadig al-Karuri. Within the meetings the presentation of the Belarusian mechanical products was made, the parties approved the procedure of working out the projects in the prospective spheres of cooperation. The Sudanese party expressed interest in the creation of facilities for the assembly of the Belarusian cargo trucks, joint enterprises producing fertilizers, building structures and materials, as well as the participation of the Belarusian side in the development of deposits of mineral resources and energy facilities construction.

Within the visit Mr.Valentin Rybakov met with Sudanese Minister of Defence Mr.Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein.

Later on the same day the Belarusian delegation met with the Chairman of the Sudanese Parliament Mr.Fateh Azziddin. The parties discussed the ways of intergovernmental cooperation development, as well as other issues on the international agenda.
