Presentation of the Free Economic Zone Gomel-Raton Took Place in Kyiv

On February 15, 2012 the administration of the Free Economic Zone Gomel-Raton presented in Kyiv the business opportunities offered by the FEZ and organized a business seminar “Business conditions in free economic zone Gomel-Raton”. The event was prepared together with the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with assistance of the Embassy of Belarus in the Ukraine.

The Belarusian delegation was led by Alexander Kornev, Deputy Head of the FEZ Gomel-Raton administration and included a number of top managers of the FEZ resident companies.

More than 30 representatives of Ukrainian business entities attended the event, among them Sergei Prokhorov, First Vice President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

During the event the Belarusian side presented a report on the strategy of the Belarusian Government for attracting foreign direct investment until the year 2015.

As the outcome of the visit FEZ Gomel-Raton signed agreements on cooperation with the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and with the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
