On the First Session of the Joint Belarus-Bolivia Committee On Trade and Economic Cooperation

On November 21 — 22, 2013 the first session of the Joint Belarus-Bolivia Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation is taking place in Minsk.

The Belarusian side at the negotiations is led by Head of the Department for Presidential Affairs of Belarus, Mr.Viktor Sheiman, the Bolivian — by Minister of Presidency of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Mr.Juan Ramon Quintana Taborga.

In the course of the meeting the sides will discuss the state and prospects of cooperation development in the field of industry, agriculture, construction, mining, science and technology, education and other spheres.

The Joint Session has been arranged with the aim of developing the agreements reached during the official visit of Bolivian President Mr.Evo Morales to Belarus in September 2013.

Within the visit to Belarus, the Bolivian delegation will attend meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Architecture and Construction, the National Academy of Sciences. The delegation will also visit Minsk Tractor Works.
