Ambassador of Belarus S.Terentiev meets the Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs of the League of Arab States

On November 25, 2024 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the League of Arab States, Sergei Terentiev, met with the Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs of the League of Arab States, Ali Al-Maliki.
The sides discussed promising areas for the development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the League of Arab States with an emphasis on the economic dimension. The results of interaction with specialized institutions of the League in agricultural and educational spheres were noted, and steps to develop contacts with the League's institutions in the fields of information technology, industry, and energy were outlined.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Arab countries amid global crises.
