On Belarus-Latvia Consultations on Consular Issues

On January 21 – 22, 2014 Belarus-Latvia consultations on consular issues took place in Riga.
 
The Belarusian delegation was led by the Head of Consular Directorate of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Mr.Igor Fisenko, the Latvian – by the Head of Consular and Diplomatic Facilities Directorate of the Foreign Ministry Mr.Maris Selga.

The parties discussed bilateral relations in the consular sphere that are of mutual interest, including the realization of Belarus-Latvia Intergovernmental Agreement on simplification of reciprocal trips of border territories residents. The participants of the consultation considered the prospects of interaction in the framework of building up relations between Belarus-EU on consular issues.
 
Within the event the Head of the Belarusian delegation Mr.Igor Fisenko met with Deputy State Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Mr.Peteris Vaivars.
