On the Visit of Belarusian Delegation to Lao People’s Democratic Republic

On February 5 – 7, 2014 in Vientian (Lao People’s Democratic Republic) the first session of Belarus-Laos Committee on bilateral cooperation, Belarus-Laos consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the ceremonies dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Belarus-Laos diplomatic relations establishment were held.

The Belarusian delegation in the Intergovernmental Committee was headed by the Minister of Economy Mr.Nikolai Snopkov, at the consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs – by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Valentin Rybakov.

Within the negotiations the sides discussed the issues of Belarus-Laos bilateral cooperation. The parties considered the results of the implementation of the agreements reached within the visit of Loa President Mr.Choummaly Sayasone to Belarus in July 2013.

On February 5, 2014 Belarus-Los business forum was held, the contracts for the deliveries of Belarusian products to Laos were signed.
