Fifth Session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Takes Place in Saint Petersburg

On June 15, 2012 Saint Petersburg hosts the 5th meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the EEC Council, Sergei Roumas and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Igor Petrishenko take part in this event.

Participants of the meeting will consider the report of the EEC Board member on the issues of technical regulation, Valery Koreshkov on adoption of several technical regulations of the Customs Union, and on amendments to the regulations already in force.

The sides with examine the issues of introducing amendments to the Agreement on Common Customs and Tariff Regulation, signed on January 25, 2008, the issues of sanitary and epidemiological control, reciprocal access of the business entities of Belarus and Russia to the electronic digital signature in terms of implementation of the Agreement on state (municipal) purchases, signed on December 9, 2010, as well as financial and budgetary issues.
