On the Visit of Sergey Aleinik to Vietnam

On November 5 – 6th, 2012 the 9th session of the Belarusian-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Committee on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation is going to take place in Hanoi. The Belarusian delegation will be headed by Sergei Aleinik — Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
 
During the meeting the issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture, science, technology, sports and tourism will be discussed. 
 
The delegation will discuss the possibility of MAZ trucks co-production. The Intergovernmental Committee is going to discuss a joint production of the complex fertilizers from Belarusian raw materials. An important item on the agenda is the participation of Belarusian companies in mining operations in Vietnam. 
 
The Belarusian side is planning to discuss the issue of direct flights between Minsk and Hanoi which is important for the development of tourism, and contacts between people.
 
During the visit to Vietnam it is planned to hold the next round of political consultations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. Sergei Aleinik will meet with Mr. Hoang Trung Hai — Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister, and Mr.Pham Binh Minh — Minister of Foreign Affairs.
 
For information: In 2011, the volume of Belarusian exports to Vietnam amounted to 164.3 million USD  (155.8% growth if compared to 2010). In January-September, 2012  Belarusian exports amounted to 124 million USD.
