Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Martynov to Visit Indonesia and Laos

On June 11-13 The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the the Republic of Belarus Sergei Martynov will pay an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia.

Meetings with President of the Republic, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament, Ministers of defense, trade, education, research and technology are scheduled during the stay in Jakarta. During these meetings the sides will discuss the entire spectrum if Belarusian-Indonesian relations.

Sergei Martynov will meet with the Chairman of the Camber of Industry and Commerce of Indonesia to discuss main avenues for trade and economic cooperation.

Bilateral meeting with the General Secretary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is planned to discuss the prospects of expanding cooperation of Belarus with this organization.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two states plan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and on bilateral consultations between the Foreign Ministries.

On June 13-15, 2012 on the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos Sergei Martynov will visit the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The agenda of the visit includes meetings of the Belarusian Foreign Minister with the President of Laos, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministers of industry and commerce, science and technologies for discussion of the issues of political, trade and economic, science and technical cooperation.
