Mikhail Myasnikovich to Participate in the Meeting of CIS Heads of Governments Council

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich will participate in the meeting of the Council of the Heads of Governments of the countries — members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which will take place in Ashgabat on May 30.

There are 30 items on the agenda of the meeting. The heads of governments will review the Concept of liberalization of the financial services market of the CIS member states. Special attention will be paid to drafting the Agreement on cooperation in organization of the integrated foreign exchange market.

A Development Strategy of the Sports and Fitness to the year 2020 and the Agreement on the Council on Tourism are expected to be adopted during the meeting.

The heads of governments will adopt the Action Plan for 2012-2013 on implementation of the International Youth Cooperation Strategy.

The program of the visit of Mikhail Myasnikovich includes a number of bilateral meetings.

It is also expected that the Prime Minister of Belarus will be received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

Turkmenistan chairs the Commonwealth in 2012, focusing its efforts on further strengthening and expanding CIS-wide cooperation in economy, science, education, culture and sports.
