On the Participation of the Belarusian Delegation in the 51st Session of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

On November 13, 2013 within the 51st session of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights the combined 4th, 5th and 6th periodic reports of the Republic of Belarus on the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights will be considered.

The Belarusian delegation headed by Mr.Yuri Ambrazevich, Head of the Directorate for Multilateral Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take part in the session.

Mr.Ambrazevich will present the report and inform the Committee on national efforts, legislative and practical measures on promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms to education, enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, work, social protection.

The Belarusian delegation also includes the representatives of the Ministries of Justice, Education, Healthcare, Labour and Social Protection.

Building on the outcomes of the report the Committee will make its concluding observations to the Belarusian side.
