On the Ceremony of the Cancellation of Postal Stamps Dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Belarus and Israel Establishment

On December 18, 2012 a ceremony of the cancellation of postal stamps dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Israel took place in the National Museum of Fine Arts in Minsk.
Mr.Igor Leshchenya, the Head of the Division for Africa and Middle East, Mr.Nikolai Pantelei, Minister of Communications and Informatization, and Mr.Josef Shagal, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotential of Israel to Belarus, took part in the event.
Mr.Igor Leshchenya marked that Belarus-Israel relations are quickly developing and are beneficial for both sides.
The ceremony was held during the Days of Israeli Culture in Belarus on December 17–19, 2012.
For reference: Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Israel were established in May, 1992.
