Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus I.Sekreta meets IOM Representative in Belarus

On 28 July 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sekreta, met with the Representative of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in the Republic of Belarus, Marina Schramm, on the occasion of the beginning of her diplomatic mission in the country.
The Deputy Minister briefly outlined the main areas of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the International Organisation for Migration. He described the progress made, set out the tasks ahead and the expected outcomes of further work in each of these areas.
The parties paid particular attention to issues of cooperation in combating human trafficking and irregular migration, regulating external labour migration, and securing funding for IOM projects in Belarus.
Igor Sekreta wished Marina Schramm every success in her work in Belarus.
