On the Meeting of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus with UN Chef de Cabinet

On May 13, 2013 Mr.Valentin Rybakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, had a meeting with Ms.Susana Malcorra, UN Secretary General Chef de Cabinet.

The Belarusian diplomat thanked Ms.Malcorra and UN Secretary General executive office for effective participation and active support in organizing High-level meeting on the appraisal of the Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons.

Ms.Malcorra stressed that the UN Secretary-General asked her to convey to the Government of the Republic of Belarus his words of gratitude for organizing the High-level meeting.

The UN Secretariat appreciates the active role of Belarus in the international arena on the problems of combating trafficking in human beings.

The parties also discussed further ways of strengthening cooperation between Belarus and the United Nations.
