Belarusian Delegation Takes Part in V Astana Economic Forum

On May 22-24 Belarusian delegation headed by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Snopkov, is taking part in the V Astana Economic Forum. Its main subject is “Global economic transformation: Challenges and Perspectives of development”.

Belarusian delegation includes representatives of ministries and state agencies, National Bank, National Academy of Sciences, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The program of the Forum includes over 40 specialized events of various formats with participation of 6.5 thousand delegates, representing 85 countries of the world.

Plenary session of the Forum was chaired by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev.

VI Meeting of the Finance Ministers of the CIS member states will be held during the Forum. Minister of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Kharkovets will participate in this event.

Belarusian delegation is an active participant of the investment, energy and ecology forums, VII Innovation Congress on the theme “business innovation — the path to a competitive economy”, specialized panels and seminars of the Forum.
