Belarus-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission to Meet in Minsk

On May 25, 2012 Minsk will host the 21st meeting of the Belarus-Ukraine Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Belarusian side of the Commission will be headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Semashko, the Ukrainian side will be led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi.

During the meeting the sides plan to discuss the avenues of further cooperation in the sphere of industrial cooperation, transports, agriculture, fuel and energy industry, construction and architecture, healthcare, chemical industry, science and technologies, culture, education, sports and tourism, finance, improvement of bilateral legal base.

The program of the visit includes a meeting between Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi and the Prime Minister of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Additionally, the head of the Ukrainian governmental delegation will visit Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ), to attend the presentation of the machinery manufactured by MTZ, MAZ, BelAZ, Amkodor and Belkommunmash.
