On the Visit of Belarus Delegation Headed by Mr.Igor Petrishenko, Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, to Ryazan Region

On July 25 – 26, 2013 Belarusian Delegation headed by Mr.Igor Petrishenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia, is on a working visit to Ryazan Region of the Russian Federation.

The Delegation includes the managers of the commodity distribution network of Belarusian machine building enterprises “Gomselmash”, “Minsk Tractor Works”, “Minsk Automobile Plant”, “AMKODOR”, “Grodno Glassworks”, trading house “Gomel Glass”.

Mr.Igor Petrishenko held a meeting with Mr.Oleg Kovalev, Governor of Ryazan Region. During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation. The sides marked the significant potential in the development of economic relations between Belarus and Ryazan Region.

The Head of Ryazan Administration Mr.Vitaly Artemov took part in the meeting. He underlined that cooperation between the regions of Belarus and Ryazan Region is successfully developing.

Mr.Igor Petrishenko marked the necessity of legal framework development and handed over the draft agreement on cooperation between the Government of Belarus and Ryazan Region. The Agreement covers the issues of trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian interaction and will be supplemented with the plan of action.

Upon completing the meeting the Ambassador of Belarus and the Governor of Ryazan Region got acquainted with the activity of the trading house “Belorussky” that is functioning in Ryazan since February, 2012.
