On the Meeting of Mr.Oleg Kravchenko with the President of the Association of Slavic Immigrants of the USA

On June 13, 2013 Mr.Oleg Kravchenko, Charge d'Affaires of Belarus in the United States, met in the Embassy of Belarus in the United States with Mr.Vasily Stupino, President of the Association of Slavic Immigrants of the USA.

Mr.Oleg Kravchenko and Mr.Vasily Stupino agreed to develop cooperation between the Embassy and the Association in distributing information about Belarus, history, culture and arts, scientific, technical and industrial achievements, providing assistance in Belarusian language preservation and study by the representatives of the Belarusian Diaspora and their children, as well as the participation of Belarusian artists in the festivals of Slavic culture and heritage in the United States, youth exchanges.

The Association of Slavic immigrants of the USA was established in 1994 to preserve the culture and native languages of the Slavic immigrants in the United States, to unite the United States Slavic people by means of culture and charity events, supporting the old and sick, protecting the rights of the Slavic Diaspora, promoting healthy lifestyle among Slavic youth. The headquarters of the Association is located in the State of Washington, Divisions — in the states of California, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, Oregon and Florida.
