Deputy Foreign Minister Aleinik to visit Indonesia and Singapore

On October 1-5, 2012 Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Aleinik visits Indonesia and Singapore.

While in Jakarta on October 1-3, Sergei Aleinik will meet the officials of the Foreign Ministry of Indonesia, other ministries and departments, big Indonesian companies. During the meetings the sides will discuss bilateral political, trade and economic, investment, sci-tech cooperation as well as coordinated interaction in multilateral organizations.

The parties will also look into the issues related to the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation, further improvement of the legal framework, collaboration in the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The Singapore agenda for October 3-5 includes Sergei Aleinik’s meetings with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Trade and Industry Ministry, the Parliament, the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Singapore Business Federation, the Economic Development Council and the Council of Foreign Companies.

During meetings the parties will discuss the most important issues in bilateral relations, an exchange of visits at various levels in order to improve the supporting legal framework and intensify trade, economic and investment cooperation.
