On the Visit of the Belarusian Delegation to France
27 November 2013On November 26-29, 2013 the delegation of the Republic of Belarus, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Mr.Aleksand Guryanov, is on a visit to France.
During the stay in Paris, the Belarusian delegation will take part in the 154th session of the General Assembly of the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE). One of the key issues on the agenda of the BIE General Assembly will be the election of the capital city for the World exhibition EXPO 2020.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus will hold negotiations with Secretary General of the BIE Mr.Vicente Loscertales to discuss Belarus’s participation in the World exhibition EXPO 2015 in Milan.
The Belarusian delegation will also attend working meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Trade of France, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The participants of the meetings will consider the issues of Belarus-France trade and economic cooperation development, the bilateral contractual and legal framework, as well as prospects for interaction enhancement between Belarus and the OECD.
