Minister Martynov on Working Visit to Italy

On July 25-27 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Martynov is in Italy with a working visit.

On July 25, 2012 S.Martynov met in Rome with the newly elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (PA OSCE), Riccardo Migliori. The sides have discussed a range of issues related to cooperation of Belarus with the OSCE, including participation of the PA OSCE representatives in the international observation of the elections to the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on September 23, 2012.

The head of the PA OSCE expressed satisfaction on receiving invitation from the Belarusian to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to participate in the observation during the upcoming elections.

The sides also exchanged opintions on bilateratl relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Italian Republic.

The program of the visit includes meetings of the Foreign Minister with the representatives of the Italian Parliament and state authorities, and with the management of the Italian companies interested in implementation of the joint projects in Belarus.
