On the Working Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Vladimir Makei to Latvian Republic
27 February 2014On February 27 – 28, 2014 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Vladimir Makei will be on a working visit to Latvia.
The program of the visit includes the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the President of Latvia Mr.Andris Bērziņš, Foreign Minister Mr.Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Transport Mr.Anrijs Matīss.
During the negotiations the parties will consider a wide range of issues of Belarus-Latvia cooperation in the political, trade, economic, transport, transit and humanitarian spheres, as well as discuss Belarus-EU relations, taking into account the chairmanship of Latvia in the EU in the first half of 2015 and holding Riga Summit of the Eastern Partnership Initiative.
Within his stay in Riga Mr.Makei plans to visit Freeport of Riga and Belarus-Latvia joint enterprise MTW-Service.
