Alena Kupchyna Takes Part in First Informal Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Eastern Partnership Participating States

On June 5, 2012 Chisinau hosts the first round of the informal dialog at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Eastern Partnership participating states. Attending the event will be high officials of the European Commission and the European External Action Service.

The Republic of Belarus is represented by a delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna.

The participants of the meeting will discuss the issues regarding the state and prospects of cooperation of the partner states and the European Union under the Eastern Partnership program.

The head of the Belarusian delegation during the discussions will address the issues of dialog with the European Union, the development of the Eastern Partnership on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

The program of the visit of the Belarusian delegation also includes working meetings with the leaders of the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, as well as with the heads of delegations of other member-states, the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
