On the Meeting of Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, with Deputy Prime-Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos

On June 3 – 4, 2013 Mr.Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime-Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos, is on a working visit to Belarus.

On June 3 Mr.Vladimir Makei held a meeting with Mr.Thongloun Sisoulith.

During the negotiations the parties discussed the state and prospects of political cooperation, including the preparation of the forthcoming visit of Laos’ President to Belarus. The sides considered the implementation of joint projects in Laos, the increase of Belarus’ exports to the Laotian market, the development of the legal framework, interaction in international organizations and the UN.

Mr.Vladimir Makei and Mr.Thongloun Sisoulith agreed to renew cooperation in education, science, culture and tourism.

The Delegation of Laos is planning to visit a number of Belarusian enterprises and agencies.
