On the Meetings of Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty, Ambassador of Belarus to Ghana

On May 20, 2013 Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Nigeria with concurrent accreditation in Ghana, met with Mr.Kwesi Quartey, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.

During the meeting the Belarusian diplomat expressed readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Ghana in all spheres. Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty underlined the necessity to intensify the contacts between government institutions and businessmen of the two countries, as well as develop the legal framework of bilateral relations.

Mr.Kwesi Quartey marked interest in attracting industrial and agricultural technologies, engineering products to Ghana’s economy and sharing experience in housing and communal sector.

Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty presented the copies of credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.

Later on the same day Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty met with Greater Accra Regional Minister, Mr.Julius Debrah.

The parties discussed the prospects of the development of cooperation between the metropolitan areas of Belarus and Ghana.

Mr.Vyacheslav Beskosty informed the Minister with the industrial and export potential of Belarus and Minsk.

Mr.Julius Debrah expressed interest in the participation of Belarus’ enterprises in the implementation of joint projects in agriculture, transport infrastructure, energy industry, domestic waste recovery and water purification in Accra.
