On Signing the Partnership Agreement on Improving Staff Training in the Sphere of International Relations

On November 28, 2012 the Partnership Agreement on improving staff training in the sphere of international relations was signed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Agreement was signed by Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr.Sergei Maskevich, Minister of Education, and the Rector of the Belarusian State University Sergei Ablameiko, Mr.Vladimir Shimov, Rector of Belarusian State Economic University, and Ms.Natalia Baranova, Rector of Minsk State Linguistic University.

The Agreement is aimed at developing cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and universities in training highly professional staff for work in the sphere of international relations.

The Agreement provides cooperation between ministries and universities in improving curricula, creating an effective system of professional selection of students, as well as rendering assistance to the universities in developing international contacts and internship for student.

The Agreement was signed for 5 years with the possibility of extension. The provisions of the document will be reflected in the annual programs of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and universities.
