On Belarus – Netherlands Agricultural Forum

On June 5, 2013 Belarus-Netherlands agricultural Forum took place within the 23rd International Exhibition “Belagro-2013”.

The Forum was organized on the initiative of the Belarusian Embassy in the Netherlands with the assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus.

The businessmen of the Netherlands who represent agricultural companies took part in the Forum.

During the plenary meeting the Netherlands’ participants were informed on the state and the prospects of the development of agricultural sector up to 2015. The participants of the Forum discussed with the Belarusian colleagues the prospects of the development of Belarus-Netherlands agricultural cooperation, including the Netherlands’ investments and innovations attraction to Belarus, creation of assembly plants on the territory of Belarus, scientific and technological cooperation.

When being in Belarus the Netherlands’ delegation held a meeting with Mr.Leonid Marinich, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, and visited a number of Belarusian enterprises and companies.
