On the Session of Belarus-Hungary Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation

On October 7 – 8, 2013 Belarus-Hungary business Forum and the 4th session of Belarus-Hungary Committee on economic cooperation will take place in Budapest.

The Belarusian part of the Committee is headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms.Alena Kupchyna, the Hungarian – by State Secretary for External Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of the Office of the Hungarian Prime Minister Mr.Peter Szijjarto.

The Belarusian delegation includes the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Protection, as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Sport and Tourism, Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business circles.

During the plenary meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee the parties will discuss a wide range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, credit and investment spheres, as well as in industry, science, technology, tourism, agriculture, standardization.

The Program of the event includes the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Belarusian State Center of Accreditation and Hungarian Accreditation Council to cooperate in the sphere of science, technique and innovations.

Bilateral negotiations of the Head of the Belarusian delegation in the Hungarian Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Economy are planned.

On the 7th of October the business match-making session for the Belarusian and Hungarian business will be held.
