On July 29, 2013 Ms.Alena Kupchyna, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, held a meeting with Ms.Antje Leendertse, Director for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia of the German Federal Foreign Office.
The meeting was a continuation of the dialogue between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Germany, which started during the visits of Ms.Alena Kupchyna to Berlin in October 2012 and April 2013.
During the meeting the parties discussed the issues on the bilateral and European agenda. The sides agreed that it’s important to further develop trade, economic and investments interaction, underlined the interest in holding successfully the Day of the Belarusian Economy in Berlin and the Day of German Economy in Minsk in October 2013.
The parties expressed interest in continuing contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
