On the Visit of the Ambassador of Belarus Mr.Sergei Rahmanov to Fukuoka Prefecture

On November 25-26, 2013 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan Mr.Sergei Rahmanov visited Fukuoka Prefecture.

During the meeting of Mr.Sergei Rahmanov with Vice-Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture Ms.Etsuko Ebii the sides discussed development of interregional cooperation in the economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres. Vice-Governor welcomed the creation of Belarus-Japan association to promote industrial and trade cooperation, and expressed readiness to encourage contacts between women’s organizations of the two countries.

Within the negotiations with the Chair and members of Fukuoka Prefecture’s Administration the Ambassador presented information on the state of Belarus-Japan cooperation, including in the sphere of rehabilitation of the territories that suffered from the disaster at Fukushima-1.

Mr.Sergei Rahmanov held negotiations with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fukuoka Prefecture, representatives of political, business and academic community.
