Delegation of Qatar visits Belarus

Following the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the State of Qatar in August, 2011, the Qatar delegation headed by the Qatar Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani arrived to the Republic of Belarus with a working visit that will last from October 20 to October 21.

On October, 20 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Martynov with the Minister of State for Interior Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, and signing of the Memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the fields of prevention and response to emergency and disaster situations.

The program of the visit also includes the meeting between the Head of the Qatar delegation and the Minister of Interior Affairs Anatolii Kuleshov and the Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Vashchenko.
