First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus S.Aleinik visits Mongolia

On September 20-21, 2022 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, visited Mongolia.

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Minister of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia, Byambatsogt Sandag. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the transport sector, as well as the issues of interaction within the framework of the Joint Belarusian-Mongolian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. 

At the meeting with the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, Bolorchuluun Khayangaa, the sides considered the ongoing joint projects of Belarus and Mongolia in the field of agriculture. 

During the meeting with the Speaker of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, Zandanshatar Gombojav, an exchange of views on a wide range of issues took place. Special attention was paid to the intensification of interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries. 

On September 21, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus took part in the fifth round of Belarusian-Mongolian political consultations. The Mongolian side was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Batsumber Mukhjin.

The parties discussed the state of the Belarusian-Mongolian cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres and exchanged views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda. The sides considered matters of interaction in international organizations.

During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of Mongolian business circles interested in developing cooperation with Belarus, as well as with representatives of Belarusian enterprises participating in the national exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the Mongolian international exhibition “Ulaanbaatar Partnership”.
