Council of Republic Ratifies Belarusian-Croatian Inter-Governmental Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation

In the course of a plenary sitting of the 9th session, the Council of the Republic has ratified the Belarusian-Croatian inter-governmental agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evading earnings and capital taxes.

When presenting the document member of the Council of the Republic Sviatoslav Lis noted that it was developed because it was necessary to coordinate the actions between the tax services of two states. The agreement is also aimed at regulating tax relations with the Republic of Croatia.

The senator expressed an opinion that the goal of this agreement was to further develop and strengthen the economic and technical cooperation between two states on the mutually beneficial basis.
