The Belarusian-Latin American Forum was held in Moskow

On June 28, 2022 the Belarusian-Latin American Forum was held at the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, within the framework of which the export potential of the Republic of Belarus was presented to the diplomatic missions of Latin American states in Moscow.

The event was attended by Ambassadors, Heads of diplomatic missions and diplomats of the Embassies of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Honduras, Grenada, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

The Belarusian side was represented at the forum by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, the Belneftekhim concern, the Ministry of Industry, the Belfarmprom holding and leading exporting enterprises.

The head of the Belarusian delegation, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eevgeny Shestakov, in his speech stressed the importance for the Republic of Belarus of expanding cooperation with the states of Latin America and the Caribbean in all key areas.

An open exchange of views took place on the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation in the industrial, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.
