Ambassador of Belarus V.Rybak met with the president of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey

On April 15, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey Victor Rybak met with the President of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey Yekta Saraç.

Background information. In October 2019 Y.Saraç paid a visit to the Republic of Belarus in order to participate in the first Forum of higher education institutions of Belarus and Turkey where the bilateral program of cooperation in the field of higher education for 2020-2021 was signed. There are currently 60 cooperation agreements between higher education institutions of the two countries.

V.Rybak and Y.Saraç discussed the organization of the return visit of the delegation of Belarusian educational institutions headed by the administration of the Ministry of Education of our country to participate in the International Exhibition of Foreign Languages and Summer Schools, scheduled for May 18-24, 2021 in the cities of Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.

During the meeting the interlocutors also exchanged views on possibility of holding the second Forum of higher education institutions of Belarus and Turkey.
