On November 28, 2022 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Norov, visited the Embassy of Belarus in Uzbekistan in order to honor the memory of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expressed his sympathy and support on the occasion of the untimely death of Minister V.Makei and made a corresponding entry in the book of condolences opened at the Embassy.

In particular, he stressed that “Vladimir Vladimirovich was a skilled and experienced diplomat, a high professional in his field and a true patriot of Belarus”, and also noted the significant contribution made by V.V. Makei to strengthen friendly ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
