Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Barysevich pays a working visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe

On July 9–10, 2021 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Mikalai Barysevich, as part of the Belarusian delegation paid a working visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe.

On July 10, 2021 in the city of Mutare, the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Haritonchik, solemnly transferred the forestry and firefighting vehicles made in Belarus to the Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The day before the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, received the Belarusian delegation with a courtesy visit.

On July 9, 2021 M.Barysevich met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Frederick Shava, and discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation. 

The delegation also held negotiations with the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Resettlement of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Anxious Masuku, the Minister of Environment, Climate Change, Tourism and the Hospitality Industry of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Nqobizitha Ndlovu, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural and Urban Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Zvinechimwe Сhuru. The progress and prospects of the implementation of joint projects were discussed.
