Press Briefing

On June 14, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the premises of the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold the Press Briefing on topical issues on the recent agenda.

The leadership of the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Defense, the State Border Committee, the Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, and other relevant speakers will attend the event.

The main topics of the upcoming briefing include the development of the story behind Ryanair Athens-Vilnius flight, the departure of certain representatives of the Polish national minority from Belarus, the transit of illegal migrants through the Belarusian territory, new circumstances regarding Roman Protasevich case.

A number of previously unpublished factual materials are planned to be shown.

Representatives of mass media outlets interested in covering the Briefing should arrive at the National Press Center no later than 2.40 p.m. Please send the questions you might have and inform the Ministry before 6 p.m. on Friday (June 11) via e-mail (press@mfa.gov.by).

Representatives of Foreign Embassies and International Organizations accredited in Belarus are welcome to participate in the Briefing. Please notify the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your intention to attend the briefing before 6 p.m. on Friday (June 11) via e-mail (press@mfa.gov.by).
