Deputy Foreign Minister Y.Ambrazevich participates in the commemorative event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Catastrophe and Heroism of European Jewry

On April 28, 2022 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, participated in a commemorative ceremony dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Catastrophe and Heroism of European Jewry.
The event that is held annually on the initiative of the Embassy of Israel was hosted by the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
The participants commemorated the victims of the Holocaust, Belarusian citizens who received the honorary title of Righteous Among the Nations for rescuing Jews during the Nazi occupation, as well as liberators, partisans and underground fighters who contributed to the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
Y.Ambrazevich addressed the guests and the participants of the ceremony with a welcoming speech and lit a memorial candle.
