On the Ceremonial Session of the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO
17 April 2014On April 18, 2014 the ceremonial session of the National Commission of the Republic of Belarus for UNESCO will take place in the National Library of Belarus under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Mr.Vladimir Makei. The session is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Belarus’ membership in the Organization.
UNESCO Director-General Ms.Irina Bokova will take part in the event.
Within the session the members of the National Commission will summarize the results of Belarus’ cooperation within UNESCO and discuss with the Director-General of the Organization the prospects of the further interaction.
The participants of the session will include the leadership of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, National Academy of Science, the representatives of the civil society and youth organizations.
