21st Meeting of the Committee on Foreign Trade Regulation to take place in Moscow

On March 15, 2012 Moscow will host the 21st meeting of the Committee on Foreign Trade Regulation.

The delegation of the Republic of Belarus will be headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Guryanov. The delegation also includes the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Belarus. The delegation of the Russian Federation will be led by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Georgy Kalamanov, the Kazakh one – by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Timur Zhaksylykov.

The agenda of the meeting is based on the proposals of the Member States of the Custom Union on customs and tariffs regulation, including tariff preferences.

In particular, the sides will consider proposals to amend the unified Commodity Description and Coding System of the Customs Union and to correct the rates of import customs duties of the Common Customs Tariff of the Customs Union in relation to certain types of goods (polyesters and melamine gums, civil aircraft flight simulators, fuel pumps, electric vehicles, credit and debit card payment terminals, ethylene polymers, special H-hexane gasoline, etc).
