Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Glaz answers the question of TASS News Agency about the events in Kazakhstan
05 January 2022
TASS: How would you comment on the events taking place now in Kazakhstan?
A.Glaz: We cannot stay indifferent to what is happening in Kazakhstan these days. This country is our ally, and we have been following the situation there with deep concern. For us the events look familiar, both in content and form. Mechanisms and tools are visible to the naked eye.
In this regard, at this stage, it is important to get the situation stabilized and the unrest stopped. We hope that the Kazakhstani leadership will be able to do it. History has convincingly proved that coups and revolutions lead to nothing good.
